Why we utilize UC’s concentrated graphene suspension- UniPerse™ ?
We know graphene is a nanomaterial with excellent thermal properties, not only for the highest thermal conductivity of 5300 W/m‧k among all materials but also for more than 0.93 of thermal radiation emissivity, that makes it a wonderful material for heat dissipation with the synergy of conduction and radiation effects. However, most of customers has faced the problems on mixing and dispersion when they utilize graphene to develop the paint and ink. The major reasons from their fluffy morphology and huge difference on surface characteristics results in a poor dispersion of graphene inside the resin matrix。
After years research and development, UC finally find a way to provide a highly concentrated, stably suspended, and well rheologic concentrated graphene suspension - UniPerse™. The UniPerse™ products could provide high concentration for over 20 wt% , good rheology for all kinds of end use with a wide viscosity range of 500cps – 10000 cps, and various solvent option for all kinds of resin system, including water and multiple solvent systems. In the other hands, because of UC’s unique dispersion technique, we can find a well distribution on laternal size and thickness from graphene suspension, it also results in a better stacking density and further leads to a obvious enhancement on heat dissipation.
What is the advantages for graphene compared to other heat dissipation spray ?
The graphene heat dissipation paints developed by GCPC with UC’s concentrated graphene dispersion, UniPerse™ could not only have excellent mechanical properties on the hardeness of H grade, over 400 time on cycle of failure, and over 1000hrs against the salt spray test, but also have a better heat dissipation behaviour than commercial thermal dissipation paint under low temperature environment. Using the thermal dissipation module developed by UC under the practical environment, we found the graphene spray coating could not only have much better performance on heat dissipation than other commercial products, but also have more than 40% enhancement than the blank sample with common clear coating.
